Quito, World Cultural Heritage
Located in the Middle of the World, over 2800 meters above sea level, Quito, with more than 2.500.000 inhabitants, is the second largest city of Ecuador. It is the capital and the first city to receive the UNESCO designation as “Cultural World Heritage”. Quito has the biggest and best preserved historical center in Latin America, and possesses a natural and exotic beauty, that has been the reason it has been declared as the Leader Touristic Destination in South America by the World Travel Awards.
How to get there
Quito offers traditional dishes prepared with meat, grains, cereals, potatoes, fruits and vegetables. There are also international restaurants and franchises from other countries.
Quito has cultural activities and it´s Colonial Old Town is one of the best kept in Latin America.
